The art of camping

Contrary to what I thought, camping in Mexico is challenging (there are more fences here than any other country I've been to, including Israel.) and one must be crafty in locating and using a campsite. In the end though there is nothing quite like luck when it comes to finding that pot of gold which keeps you dry during a torrential downpour.

  1. Glad to see you found a dry spot to sleep. I was a little worried when we left you last night that you'd be left sleeping in a puddle in the middle of the town square in Palenque.
I just read over your previous posts. Sounds like a great adventure. Take care and enjoy every moment!
